Today, President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. declared that a major disaster exists in the State of Kansas and ordered Federal assistance to supplement state, tribal, and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, and flooding from July 14 to July 21, 2023. Since the Agreement was first concluded in 1997, the strategic partnership for research between the European Union (EU) and the United States of America has grown into a robust and enduring relationship.
